For Mayda Tea, I designed three unique tea tins, each featuring a bespoke painting that visually represents the flavours of the tea leaves inside. The concept centered around creating a vibrant, fluid design that captures the essence of each tea blend through bold, expressive colours.

I created original paintings for each tin, using bright, fluid colours that symbolise the natural and aromatic qualities of the tea blends within. I focused on a dynamic, abstract style of painting, with fluid brushstrokes and gradients that create a sense of movement, much like the infusion of the tea itself. Each painting was designed to evoke the sensory experience of the tea, enhancing the connection between the product and its flavour profile.

The packaging design not only highlighted the uniqueness of Mayda Tea’s products, but also added a personalised and artistic touch to the brand’s identity. The vivid and expressive paintings helped the tins stand out on shelves, creating a memorable visual appeal that conveyed the essence and vibrancy of each tea blend..
